Harlen M. Becraft, age 75 of Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 30 in Atlantis, Florida surrounded by family. Harlen was born on January 18, 1947 in Salt Lick, Kentucky to Johnny and June Becraft who precede him in death. He also had two sisters, Bertha Purvis and Etta Mae Crouch. He married Bonnie Hatton Becraft, which was a legendary love. Between the two, they raised three children, Randy Becraft, Bonnie Anderson and Diana Lowman. Harlen had six grandchildren; Justin Anderson, Jamie Anderson, Cody Becraft, Travis Becraft, Chance Lowman and Bryanna Lowman; three great grandchildren; Phoenix Becraft, JonLuke Becraft and Pruitt Becraft. Harlen was a man of God and lived by his scripture. He was a man of his word, a hard working mechanic, an outdoorsman and a family man. He will be dearly missed and loved by many.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 5 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hedrick's Church.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Randall Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Mann Cemetery.
