Greg Crouch, age 61 of Salt Lick, made heaven his home on Friday May 15. He was born on December 7, 1958 in Bath County to Robert Clay Crouch and Mary Lou Reed Crouch. Greg worked construction and was a truck driver most of his life. He didn't mind hard work and taught his son and grandsons the same. He could be described as a jack of all trades. He loved to fish and go rabbit hunting. That was a family tradition for him and the boys to go every Thanksgiving. Greg loved his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of them and loved to spend time with them. He was known as everybody's papaw. He loved all of the children at church. Greg has been a pastor since 1992. He was very dedicated to God and his church. Visiting people in need and spreading the word of God was his passion. He also loved to spread the word through his music. Playing the guitar and singing made him so happy. He loved God and his church family with all that he had. Greg touched so many lives during his time here on earth. His big, contagious smile and laughter will be so missed. He had a way about him that he could comfort others and help them to see that things would be alright. Our loss is heaven's gain. Greg will be missed by all that knew and loved him but he will forever live on in our hearts.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janice Copher Crouch of Salt Lick; One son, Conan Crouch (Casey) of Clarksville, TN; One daughter, Regina Moore (Mikie) of Salt Lick; Three brothers, Jimmy Crouch (Jan), Dougie Crouch (Tracie) , Chris Crouch (Amy); Two sisters, Ramona Willoughby (Keith) and Tracie Gillespie (Jim); Nine grandchildren, Styler Bailey, Devan Bailey, Xavier Crouch, Joley Bailey, Layla Bailey, Ava Coffey, Clay Coffey.
