Glen Shrout

Glen Shrout, age 58 of Owingsville, passed away at his residence on July 13. He was born on January 28, 1966 in Grant County, Indiana to the late Lonnie Shrout and Betty Goldy Shrout. Glen was self employed and could do a variety of work but he enjoyed painting the most. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and had a love for horses. Glen enjoyed watching tv and loved to pick at everyone. Spending time with his daughter and granddaughter was his favorite thing to do. Glen was a hard worker with a fun loving personality. He was so proud to be a father and a papaw. Glen will be missed by those he leaves behind but his memory will live on with them forever.

He is survived by three daughters, Macie Shrout, Emily Donahue and Summer Shrout; two sons, Trevor Hampton and Josh Patrick; four brothers, Tony Shrout, Norman Shrout, Timmy Shrout and Matt Shrout; one sister, Judy Deavers; one granddaughter, Dakota Lain Shrout.

A visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
