Gerald Gillespie

Mr. Gerald Gillespie, 88, passed away Monday, at UK Healthcare in Lexington. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 10, 1932 to the late Charles and Dorothy Young Gillespie. Gerald retired from Dayton Power and Life after 25 years of service. He then began his own abstracting business. He was a firm supporter of the military and also enjoyed collecting military memorabilia.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Gillespie and one son, Terry Gillespie, also one grandchild. He leaves to mourn his passing, his son; Mark Gillespie of Owingsville and a daughter, Krista Sodders of Florida. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive. 

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
