Gary Hollon

Mr. Gary Hollon, 64, of Preston, passed away at the University Of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center on Wednesday. He was born on February 9, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Henry and Lois Stafford Hollon.

He is survived by his loving wife Janet, two children; Gary Shane Hollon and wife Kim of Mount Sterling, and a daughter, Sabrina Hollon (Robert Bosarge) of Florida. Six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive.

Gary and Janet were married thirty-two years, having celebrated their thirty-third wedding anniversary on February 18th. Following his college graduation, he was an avid bull rider, a farrier, and loved the rodeo. He and his wife enjoyed fishing and parading his horses in what is known as the world’s largest parade in Scottsdale, Arizona, known as “Scottsdale Parada del Sol.”

There are no services planned at this time. A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date.
