Edna Fields

Edna Fields, age 68, passed away on January 10, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. She was born on June 12, 1953 to the late Anastacio Urrete and Tagle Socorro Pulutan. Edna loved to go shopping and enjoyed wearing her hats. Edna had a dog that she dearly loved, her doghter, Soki.   She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic  in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She loved her church. Edna met with a prayer group, Divine Mercy, everyday. She also prayed to rosary everyday at 7:00 p.m. with spiritual friends. She was an amazing person. Everyone loved her and her kind, giving spirit. Edna had a caring nature about her. She will be missed dearly by those that loved her. May they cherish the memories they have of her. 

Edna is survived by her husband, James Fields; a son, Travis Fields and his wife, Crystal; a daughter, Sonja McCarty and her husband, Randy; four brothers, Ariston Urrete and his wife, Jane, Tomas Urrete, Vicente Urrete and Jame Castillo; four sisters, Annie Urrete, Thelma Castillo, Nene Urrete and Alene Castillo; three nephews, Angelo Urrete, Arjay Urrete, Miguel "Miggy" Urrete; one niece, Maria Angel Joann Urrete; four grandsons, Hunter McCarty, Zane McCarty, Alex Fields and Zachary Fields. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Patrick's  Catholic Church located at 139 West Main Street  Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Funeral mass will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at 1:00 p.m.
