Earl T. Bennett

Earl T. Bennett, age 84, of Owingsville, passed away on January 15 after a brief illness. He was born on April 18, 1936 in Bath County to the late Johnson Bennett and Lillie Crouch Bennett. Earl was a farmer and a carpenter. He loved to work with his hands, enjoyed the outdoors and going hunting. He was a simple man that loved his family and spending time with them. Earl will be missed greatly by his family and friends. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of those that love him. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Bashford Bennett; one son, Billy Bennett (Donita); one brother, Willie Lacy Bennett (Bonnie); one sister, Ina Manley; two grandchildren, Josh Bennett (Shelby) and Makayla Bennett; one great granddaughter, Ava Jane Bennett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Linda Gail and Bobby Thomas Bennett.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery in Bethel, KY.

Reverend Jim Crouch will be officiating. 

Covid 19 regulations will be followed.
