Dolores (Barber) Hart

Dolores Barber Hart, age 91, of Owingsville, passed away on June 19, 2020. She was born in Bath County on August 18, 1928 to the late Carl Barber and Jewell Beadle Barber. She was a homemaker and loved to work with her husband on their family farm. She enjoyed walking through the woods and just being outdoors. She was a hard worker and a simple soul. She loved to joke around and had a fun loving personality. Dolores was a member of the Slate Valley Christian Church. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends that she leaves behind. May her memory live on in their hearts forever. 

She is survived by two sons, Ricky Hart and Danny (Karen) Hart; one granddaughter, Emily Hester; one great grandson, Jackson Hester.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ford Hart; one brother, Gene Barber.

Visitation will be Monday June 22 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in the Slate Valley Cemetery.

Reverend Randy Hawkins will be officiating.
