David Keith McKenzie

David Keith McKenzie, age 46, passed away on Sunday, December 11. He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on April 16, 1976 to Randy and Cindy McKenzie Cline.  As a kid, he loved to be outdoors catching frogs, snakes and anything else he could get into. David was an outstanding member of the Bath County Boys Basketball team during his high school years.   He loved all sports and was an avid fan of UK and Cincinnati Bengals. His favorite place to be was on the river bank with a fishing pole in his hand. He loved it and would spend many hours fishing. David was a kind person and will be missed by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Cindy Cline; one brother, Derek Cline and his wife, Rachel; his paternal grandmother, Betty Belcher; one niece, Mason Cline; one nephew, Carson Cline; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Nell McKenzie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14 from 6 to 8 pm at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Lands officiating. Burial will follow in the Vance Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Josh McKenzie, Tom Phillips, Austin McKenzie, Ashton McKenzie, Jason McKenzie, Scott McKenzie, Kevin McKenzie, Greg McKenzie and Matt McKenzie
