Darlene Reffitt, age 71 of Olympia, passed away peacefully on May 15. She was born on May 1, 1953 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late Raymond Craycraft and Ollie Spence.
Darlene loved to work in her yard and always had the most beautiful flowers. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. Darlene was a kind, loving woman. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of them and enjoyed every minute she could spend with them. Her home was always open to her daughters' friends over the years. She would allow sleep overs and take them places. She treated every one the same and made them all feel at home. Darlene had a big heart and was always willing to help others. She was a caring, genuine woman that will be missed dearly by all that she leaves behind.
She is survived by her two daughters, Myra Jones (Ryan) and Lea Anne Reffitt (Jamie Kiser); three grandsons, Dalton Curtis, Bryce Jones and Donte Jones; one granddaughter, Kyliah Jones; two great grandchildren, Kaisley Clark and Kolson Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jouett Reffitt; one daughter, Stacy Reffitt; two brothers, Mike McCarty and Paul Watts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
