Danny Van Winkle

Danny Van Winkle, age 69, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on December 10, 2020. He was born on November 30, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to Harold Glendon Van Winkle and Mary Francis Crouch Van Winkle. Danny was a truck driver for 30 years before his illness. After becoming ill, he came to Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville, where he lived out the rest of his life. He was very loved by his family and the staff of Ridgeway. Danny loved sports of any kind and also enjoyed being around children. He will be missed dearly by those he leaves behind but his family finds comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is at peace. 

He is survived by his parents and two sisters, Joyce Klinehenz and Carla Smith, all of Dayton, Ohio.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private service will be held, officiated by Reverend Kenny Crouch. Danny will then be taken home to Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ohio.
