Cyndy (Hawkins) Deane

Cynthia “Cyndy” Hawkins Deane, 41, of Owingsville KY, passed away Tuesday August 19, 2025 at UK Medical Hospital. She was born October 2, 1983 to the late Elgin Hawkins and Pamela Palmer. Outside of attending Northside Church of God, she spent her days gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her family. She had many things she loved including music, dancing, British soap operas, and Donald Trump.

She is survived by her husband Josh Deane, favorite son, Dawson (Claire) Heath, three daughters, Chloe Heath, Pam Deane and Samantha Deane, three brothers, Bill Hawkins, Brian McCarty, and Jessie Hawkins, three sisters, Pamela Goodpaster, Andrea “Muff” (Troy) Highley, and Von Harmon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her special church friend, Nicole Smith.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Harmon, her paternal grandparents, Nancy Otis and William “Bill” Hawkins, and one sister, Tammy Hawkins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23 from 11:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Northside Church of God. Funeral service will follow with Reverend Kenny Crouch officiating.
