Connie Richmond, age 53, passed away on September 8 at University of Kentucky Hospital. She was born on June 21, 1967 in Fleming County to Freddie Richmond and Mary Shepherd Richmond. She was an avid UK basketball fan. She loved her family and her grandchildren. Connie loved to be outside and enjoyed family cookouts. She also enjoyed her cell phone. She loved to collect angels. She was loved by so many and will be missed dearly by her friends and family that she leaves behind. She will now be their angel to watch over and protect them.
She is survived by her fiance, Robert Howard; four daughters, Rebecca Purvis, Mary Jackson (John), Beverly Hollar (David) and Amanda Richmond; her father, Freddie Richmond; 3 brothers, Roy (Angie) Richmond, Lonnie "Pete" (Debbie) Richmond and Tommy Richmond; one sister, Jane Richardson (Alan); fourteen grandchildren, Shawna Johnson, Gabriel "Junior" Toledo, Austin Toledo, Chance Purvis, Miracle Perez, Lina Perez, Hailey Chappell, Shawn Richmond, Aaliyah Richmond, Marshall Jackson, Scott Gray, Summer Hall, Gracelynn Richmond and Eliza Earlywine; Cordis Willis, father of Beverly and Amanda; Frankie Purvis Jr., father of Rebecca and Mary.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Shepherd Richmond; one sister, Sharon Stevens; two granddaughters, Charity Purvis and Hannah Gray.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the Fleming County Cemetery with The Reverend Jim Crouch officiating.
Serving as active pallbearers are: Cordis Willis, David Hollar, Roy Richmond, Terry Spencer, Amanda Richmond and Will Richmond.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
The Richardson Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements.
