Christopher Edward Reed

Christopher Edward Reed, 30, of Winchester, formally of Owingsville passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Mt. Sterling to Carl Miller and Mary Reed on April 25, 1991. Chris loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards. He was a kind person with a big heart. Chris will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. May they cherish the memories they have of him. 

He is survived by his mother, Mary Reed; Grandmother, Laveda Reed; one sister, Kassandra McGlothin (Christopher Shrout); eight aunts, Pauline Miller, Velvet Williams (Terry), Paulette Sexton (Wayne), Ruth White, Teresa Pergrem (William Helton), Gwendolyn Martinez (Manuel), Teresa Spicer (Dan) and Donna Cross; two uncles, Thomas Reed (Sandy), and Jerry Miller (Kay); one niece, Chloe Shrout; several cousins also survive. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Miller. 

Visitation will be Friday, September 10 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.  at the Richardson Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery in Montgomery County.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Shrout, Tommy Reed, Tyler Reed, Terry Williams, Robert Harley, Artemus Baker, Derrick Chapman and Tanner Donathan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
