Celena Crouch, age 42, passed away on September 16 at St. Joseph in Mt. Sterling. She was born on July 28, 1979 in Morehead, Kentucky to Floyd Royce and Yvonne Reynolds. She was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Morehead, Kentucky. Celena was a prayer warrior. She loved going to church, bible study and spreading God's word to everyone she could. She would pray for hours for her loved ones. When her grandchildren would spend the night, she would read the bible to them and say bedtime prayers. Celena's grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to spoil them and take them for ice cream. Spending time with her family was very important to her. She also enjoyed crafting, interior decorating and painting. She loved to write in her journal and read her bible. Celena was a loving wife, mother, nina and daughter who will be missed dearly by her family and friends. They will forever cherish their memories and find peace in knowing that she is in heaven watching over them.
In addition to her parents, Celena is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Crouch; one son, Trevor Crouch (Bobbi Wells); one daughter, Destiny Crouch (Jessie Willoughby); two brothers, Logan Royce and Taylor Royce; one sister, Natalie Royce; four grandchildren, Conner Crouch, Isaiah Crouch, Olivia Willoughby, and Klayton Willoughby; two nieces, Jasmine Logan and Madison Crouch; one nephew, Karter Royce; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
Visitation will be Monday, September 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the House of Prayer, located at 600 Whispering Oaks, Morehead, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 21 at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Joseph Cline and Sister Robyn Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
