Cathy Brown

Cathy Brown, age 63 of Clearfield, passed away on July 14 at the University of Kentucky hospital. She was born on October 12, 1960 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Charles Edward Issacs and Ettie Marie Centers Issacs. Cathy loved to read and play bingo. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Driving through the country was something she loved to do. Cathy was a kind hearted person and was always willing to help others. Her family will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Orville Brown; two sisters, Mary Montgomery and Flossie Tipton; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Buckler and one brother in law, Walter Tipton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Tipton Jr., Richard Bussell, Donnie Bussell, Sam Tipton, Joey Tipton, Jim Bob Brown, and Randy Purvis.
