Carolyn Ann Wells

Carolyn Ann Wells, age 75, of Owingsville KY, passed away Monday October 06, 2025 at her residence surrounded by friends and family. Carolyn was born October 05, 1950 in Mt. Sterling KY, to the late George and Wanda Buckner. She was married to the late Don Sterling Wells. Carolyn was a long time worker at local restaurants; Erma’s, Willoughby’s, and Giovanni’s pizza. She was a social butterfly and  loved people making her the perfect hostess.

She is survived by 1 brother, Randy (Darlene) Buckner, special friends, Diane Whisman  Montjoy, John Willoughby, John Barry Staton, and Melissa Butcher. She is also survived by several other extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Sterling Wells, and her son, Kevin Wayne Wells.

Visitation will be Monday, October 13, 2025 from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home with funeral services to follow and Reverend Jim Brandenburg officiating.

Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery in Bethel, KY.
