Carolyn Doran

Carolyn Doran, age 73, of Owingsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 4 after a short illness. She was born on April 2, 1947 in Lexington, KY to the late James Rogers and Lucille Ginter Rogers. She is a member of the Kendall Springs Church of Christ. Carolyn retired from Owingsville Banking Company and was administrative assistant to Judge Jimmy Richardson for many years. She loved to play golf and enjoyed antiques. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn will be missed here on earth but she was ready to be reunited with her husband of 46 years, B.R. Her family finds peace and comfort in knowing where she is.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Doran Richardson (Andy); two granddaughters, Caroline Richardson and Emily Given (Clark); two great grandsons, Alex and Andy Given; a special cousin, Everett Ginter

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, B.R. Doran and one sister, Linda Sue Rogers.

Private services are being held at the Richardson Funeral Home.
