Carol Sue Sands

Carol Sue Sands, age 78, of Olympia, Kentucky passed away at St. Claire Hospital
on August 18, 2025. She was born on August 28, 1946 in Hazard, KY to the late Shafter and Vivian (Adams) King. Sue enjoyed cooking for her family, and led an average daily life, enjoying every precious moment.

 
She is preceded in death by her husband,Frank, two sons, Donnie and Paul McCarty, her mother, Vivian (Adams) King, and her father, Shafter King, and two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one son, Larry McCarty, one daughter, Pamela Hunt, one brother, James King, and three sisters, Sharon King, Teresa Goodpaster, and Shannon Lafferty. She leaves behind nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
