Carl Thomas Webb, age 69, of Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on May 4, 2023, surrounded by his family and beloved dog, Sissy, at his side. Carl was born to the late Walter and Lillian (Goodpaster-Ulery) Webb, on March 31st, 1954, in Owingsville, Kentucky.
As son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, or neighbor, Carl was loved by all who knew him. Growing up, he worked alongside his family in farming before moving to Fleming County, starting his own family, and working at U.S. Shoe Corporation. After over 20 years of employment with Leggett and Platt, he retired in 2019. He was always a big Cincinnati Reds fan, but enjoyed cheering all three of his grandchildren in their games the most. Hunting and fishing was a favorite pastime throughout his life; he loved eating any sort of wild game. After some convincing, he took his first commercial flight and found out he loved cruising and visited many parts of the Caribbean and Mexico with his family.
He is survived by his children Christopher (Brian) Webb and Dayna Mays. He is also survived by his three "grandbabies," as he called them, Carter Mays, Kaden Mays, and Brynlee Mays. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Don Webb, Wayne Webb, James Webb, Bobby Webb; one sister, Sue Conley.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home in Owingsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10th, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Castle officiating. Burial will follow at the Fleming County Cemetery.
