Brenda Sue Manley Bressler, age 60, passed away at her home on Thursday, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 17, 1962 to the late Conway Manley and Ruthie Smith. Brenda worked many years as a care taker and loved to help others. She loved to mow her yard, work in her flowers and be outdoors. Brenda enjoyed drinking Ale 8's and watching UK basketball. She loved her family and spending time with them. Being with her granddaughter was so special to her. She enjoyed picking her up from school and spoiling her. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, nana and friend. Her family will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Bressler; two daughters, Kayla Mitchell and Angie Moore Marshall; one granddaughter, Kaylee Hall; one sister, Debbie (Kevin) Perry; two nieces, Ashley Swartz and Megan Perry; several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Roger Sexton.
Visitation will be Monday, March 20 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Shelby Peck officiating. Burial will follow in the Oldfield Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Nelson Brierly, Gary Moore, Mitchell Smith, Lucas Perkins, Lester Rowe, and Stanley Ross.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Kendrick, Betty Hamilton, Allison Carr, Cathy Bailey and Stephanie Swartz.
