Bobby Donathan, age 67 of Owingsville, passed away at his residence on May 19. He was born in Mt. Sterling, KY on April 11, 1953 to the late Mason Donathan and Ivins Johnson Donathan. He owned a body repair shop and loved to work on vehicles. He loved to work in the garden, go fishing and mowing the yard. He also loved to cook for all his friends and family. Having fish frys was one of his favorite things to do. Family and friends were important to him and he loved to be with them. He was a member of the Stulltown Church. Bobby will be dearly missed by his family and friends that he leaves behind. May they keep his memory alive by sharing all the great stories with each other and spending time together.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Frazier Donathan; Three sons, Rodney Donathan, Toby Donathan and Jeremy Donathan; Six sisters, Cheryl Knell, Barbara Roark, Millie Donahue, Cora Salyers, Bessie Miller and Brenda Moore; One granddaughter, Summer Donathan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Six brothers, Rucker Donathan, Kenny Donathan, Henry Donathan, Burney Donathan, Jeff Donathan and Lonnie Donathan.
Private Services will be held on Friday at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Reverend Les Ingram will be officiating.
