Bobbie McNab Vanlandingham

Bobbie McNab Vanlandingham, age 98, of Owingsville KY, passed away on Friday October 31, 2025 at UK St. Claire Hospital. She was born July 12, 1927 in Paris KY, to the late John and Beatrice McNab. Bobbie McNab Vandlandingham, a life full of faith, kindness and quiet strength. Bobbie graduated from Owingsville (consolidated) High School in 1945 and furthered her education at Fugazzi Business School in Lexington KY, where she built the foundation for a long and devoted career as a legal secretary. Her dedication and grace touched many. She also worked for the Ashland Home Telephone Company, Aircraft Control, and warning squadron from 1955 until deactivated in 1957.  In 1959 Bobbie married Walter Vandlandingham and together they shared a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and faith, until Walter’s passing in 2011. Bobbie’s heart belonged to the Slate Valley Christian Church, where she had been a faithful member since 1942, and served as church treasurer for approximately 18 years. Her faith was steady and sincere, guiding her through life’s joys and challenges and inspiring those around her.

She leaves behind special friends, Michelle Planck, Kathy Henderson, Regina Smith and her special church family at Slate Valley Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Vandlandingham, and  her parents, John McNab and Beatrice McNab.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 04, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at with Reverend Greg Whitt officiating.

Burial to follow in the Owingsville Cemetery in Owingsville, KY.
