Billy Otis Craig

Mr. Billy Otis Craig, age 80, of Owingsville, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 6, 1941 to the late Estill and Francis Otis Craig. Billy was a truck driver for many years, and enjoyed camping, whittling, tractors and sitting on his porch watching the traffic pass. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Billy is survived by one son; Bill Craig (Kristie) two daughters; Carol Richards (John) and Patsy Clark (Steve.) Two brothers; Lowell Craig (Trish) and Bobby Craig (Denise) one sister; Rita Sharon Vanlandingham. Five grandchildren; Amber Martin( Lonnie) Tyler Richards (Felicia) Kylia Richards, Taylor Craig and Lauren Craig. Seven great-grandchildren; Taelyn Johnson, Brandon Shively, Nicholas Shivley, Maddy Purvis, Briley Richards, Emmalyn Richards and Harper Richards. 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Toy Craig and a brother-in-law Carroll Vanlandingham.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 3p.m in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Brother Gary Henderson officiating. Family burial will take place at a later date in the Owingsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 6-8p.m at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are; Nicholas Shively, Brandon Shively, Mike Jones, Jeff Toy, Lonnie Whitt, Tyler Richards, Jimmy Neil Robinson, Jimmy Craig and Taylor Craig. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Lykins, Johnny Richards, Kasie Gillespie, Steve Clark, Bill Ulrey, Nelson Jackson, Willie Vanlandingham, Richard Odem, Elwood Spence, Mickey Spradlin and Randy Carmichael.
