Beulah Purvis, age 83 of Owingsville, passed away on April 9 at Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bath County on March 23, 1942 to the late Oca Centers and Estes Centers. Beulah was a member of the City of Refuge Church in Olympia, where she loved to attend and fellowship with her church family. She had a strong Christian faith and loved to talk to others about the Lord. Beulah was a lady who enjoyed life and her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Taking care of everyone was just second nature to her. A shopping trip to Goodwill, yard sales and going to a good restaurant was a perfect day for her. She liked to have her nails done, loved her jewelry and spent many hours talking on the phone. Beulah loved to travel and enjoyed her trip to the beach. She always raised beautiful flowers and a garden. Beulah was a loving mother and grandmother with a good heart, a fun loving personality and good advice for anyone who would listen. She will be missed dearly by those she leaves behind.
