Obituary
Bertha Royce, age 89, passed away on July 25 at Windsor Care in Mt. Sterling. She was born in Bath County on December 15, 1932 to the late William Leach and Lizzie Conkwright. She was a member of the Hedricks Church. Bertha loved to garden and work on the farm. Caring for the animals was her favorite thing to do. She was a simple lady with a kind, loving heart. She loved her family and they will miss her dearly.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Meadows; three daughters, Lena Barrett and her husband, Fred; Patricia Bartley and her husband, Roger; Charlotte Glover; one sister, Virginia Dale; three grandchildren, Kathy Glover, Roger Wayne Tapp and Sherry Tapp; four great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Meadows; one son, Charles Clay Meadows; two brothers, Sam Leach and Henry Leach; two grandsons, CHris Meadows and Eric Glover.
A private service is being held.
