Bernetta Mae Finch, age 93, passed away at Windsor Care Center, Friday September 5, 2025. She was born November 13, 1931 to the late Everett and Opal Otis. Bernetta worked at Cowden’s manufacturing for over 45 years and was a hard working farmer’s wife to Samuel T. Finch. Bernetta lived her life as a true embodiment of Proverbs 31:10 – “A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” Bernetta lovingly and faithfully stood alongside Samuel, for 75 years.
She is survived by her husband Samuel T. Finch, one sister Meral Dean Catron, two sister-in-laws, Nancy (Sonny) Fawns and Evelyn Otis, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Otis and Carroll Otis.
Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 8, at Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Lowell Rice and Reverend Marion Fawns presiding.
Burial to follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
