Mrs. Barbara Crouch, age 82, of Sharpsburg, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was a lifelong resident of Bath County, born on May 27, 1939 to the late Everett Bailey and Nellie Cline Bailey. Barbara was a member of the Abounding Grace Assembly of God church and loved to attend. She was a caring lady who loved to cook, sew and tend to her family. In earlier years, she enjoyed painting. Barbara was a wife, mother, sister and nana that was loved so much and will be missed dearly. May her family cherish the memories they have.
She is survived by her husband, John Crouch; one daughter, Mary Rachel Townsend and her husband, Eric; one son, Wesley Crouch and his wife, Kimolee; three sisters, Betty Wilhoit, Loretta Tincher and Judy Uhl; nine grandchildren, Bethany Crouch, Dawson Walden (Megan), Lexis Walden, Mikayla Walden, David Walden, Hayden Townsend, Autumn Townsend and Eric Townsend Jr.; one great grandchild, Everleigh Rose Walden
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nadine Young and one granddaughter, Brooklyn Townsend.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Crouch officiating. Burial will be in the Owingsville Cemetery.
