Ava Terea Green, age 62, of Owingsville, made heaven her home on March 9. She was born on August 13, 1956 to the late Millard Green Jr. and Maxine Jones Green. Ava was a lifelong resident of Bath County. She was a graduate of BCHS, class of 1977. She was an avid UK and Cincinnatie Reds fan. She enjoyed farming on the family farm, raising a garden, mowing the yard and any other outdoor activities. She could tirelessly work on jigsaw puzzles and word searches. She loved watching "the grandkids" play sports in the yard and watched many school days that they made it safely on/off the bus. Ava was an inspiration to those around her. Although she had a series of health issues, she continuously fought to enjoy life and never stop. She taught those around her that your circumstances can't stop your happiness. She showed there was always a good side in any situation. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her mother, Maxine Jones Green; One brother, Mitchell Green; One nephew, Brandon (Brandi) Green; Two great nieces, Madison Cruse and Paisley Green; Three great nephews. Teygan Green, Logan Green and Bentley Green; Two uncles, Frank Robinson of Marion, Indiana and Lloyd Green (Debbie Truax) of Muncie, Indiana; Three aunts, Della McClain, Frances Jones and Charlotte Jones; Staff at Ridgeway Nursing Home who she considered her second family and a host of other friends and family.
