August Montiago Araniva

August "Tater" Montiago Araniva, 5 months old, passed away suddenly on May 11. He was born on December 28, 2023 in Lexington, KY to Josue Araniva and Jaidyn McCarty. August was a very happy baby that loved attention. He loved to be held and talked to. August was the sweetest and cutest baby ever, with the most adorable hair style. He had a lot of his father's features. His big brother was his favorite person. He would smile so big when Milo would play with him. Even though he was only here for a short time, he made a huge impact on a lot of lives. He will forever be cherished and his family finds comfort in knowing that he is in heaven with loved ones.

August is survived by his loving parents, Josue Araniva and Jaidyn McCarty; his big brother, Milo Marq Araniva; his maternal grandmother, Heather McCarty; his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Alvarez; his paternal grandfather, Melvin Araniva; his uncle, Eliezer Araniva; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Marquita McNabb.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Mudlick Church of God in Olympia, KY. 

A funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with  Brother Antonio Alvarez officiating.
