Ada June (Coyle) Thompson

Ada June Coyle Thompson, age 84, of Owingsville, passed away on July 12, 2020. She was born on May 28, 1936 in Bath County to the late Palmer G. Coyle and Dorothy Deane Jones Coyle. She was a 1958 graduate of Transylvania University. Ada was a member of the First Christian Church of Mt. Sterling and an Associate member of Crestwood Christian Church of Lexington. She was a long time member of the Bath County Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma and Harpers and White Oak Homemakers.  Ada June taught school for over 20 years. She was a kind, caring woman that was always willing to help others. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by those that are left behind. May they cherish the memories they have of her forever. 

She is survived by two sons, Harvey Thompson of Lexington and David Thompson (Robyn) of Hudson, Ohio; one sister, Ann Gordon Coyle; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Samuel Thompson; one nephew, Brad Moore; two nieces, Millie Mitchell and Alma Castle

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Thompson ; her parents, Palmer G. Coyle and Dorothy Deane Jones Coyle.

Private Services will be held at the request of the family.
