Walter Curtis Tipton, age 57, passed away at St Joseph Lexington on June 18, 2019. He was born in Winchester on March 1, 1962 to the late Walter Lewis Tipton and Nancy Clay Kirby Tipton. He was a welder at Kentucky Mustangs. He loved to go hiking and camping. He also loved to work on old mustangs. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those that loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Flossie Tipton of Jeffersonville; Two sons, Joseph Tipton (Latricia Ulery) of Owingsville and Jimmy Tipton of Owingsville; One step son, Donnie Bussell (Chelsea) of Clay City; One step daughter, Crystal Tipton (Sam) of Ravenna; Four brother, Ernest Tipton of Winchester, Hewitt Tipton of Frankfort, William Tipton of Perry, GA and Kenny Kirby of Owingsville; Three sisters, Rose Hendricks of Owingsville, Norma Puckett of Lawrenceburg and Ruby Knowles of Perry, GA; Twelve grandchildren that he loved and adored.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nancy Tipton; One brother, Billy Kirby and One sister Barbara Stamper
Visitation will be Friday June 21 from 5-8 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Saturday June 22 at 11:00 a.m. will burial following in the Longview Cemetery.
Reverend Gary Boyd will be officiating.
