Teresa Lynn (Thacker) Griggs

Teresa Lynn Thacker Griggs, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born June 2, 1965 in Pike County to the late Jewett and Vicey Dale Thacker. She is the wife of Terry Griggs of Olympia and the mother of Terry Griggs Jr. and Jerry Griggs, both of Olympia. Teresa was a member of the Farmers Christian Church, where she was baptized. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family. She loved her two grandchildren and all the children that would come visit. She loved to buy toys and popsicles for them to have. It really made her day to spend time with them all. Teresa was a very caring and giving person. She was loved by all that knew her. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Terry Griggs of Olympia and her two sons that she adored, Terry Griggs Jr. of Olympia and Jerry Griggs (Tammy Martin) of Olympia; Five brothers, Richard Dale Thacker, Phillip Thacker, Ed Thacker, Leon Thacker and Jewett Reed Thacker; One sister, Pauline Huffman; Two Grandchildren, Braxton King and Braydon King; Several Nieces and Nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jewett and Vicey Dale Thacker; One daughter, Lisa Ann Griggs; One brother, Jack W. Thacker; Three sisters, Ruby Jean Thacker, Juanita Harmon, Loreal Thacker. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 26 from 6-8 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 27 at 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in the Griggs Cemetery. 

Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
