Roger "Ramey" Reynolds II, passed away February 3, 2019 at St. Claire Medical Center after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his sisters and brothers-in-law. He was born October 31, 1952 at Mary Chiles Hospital. He was a native of White Oak (Bath County) and graduated from Bath County High School. Prior to his retirement he was a road construction worker.
Ramey was preceded in death by his father Roger Ramey Reynolds I; grandparents; and his beloved son Roger Ramey "Little Ramey" Reynolds III
Survivors include his mother Helen Frances Wilson Reynolds of Owingsville; three sisters Ann Reynolds (Hubert) Manley of Mt. Sterling, Kay Reynolds (Lowell) Jamison of Owingsville, and Marilyn Reynolds (Johnnie) Maze of Polksville; four nephews Jared Maze, Kevin Jamison, Chris Jamison, and Mike Jamison; Great Nieces and Nephews Jaxson Maze, Miles Maze, Ellie Maze, Christa Jamison, Rachel Vance and Bella Vance; two special Uncles Wayne Wilson and J.W. Wilson; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ramey loved fishing, hunting, and playing Rook. He looked forward every year to the annual Wilson reunion at Cave Run Lake and was the first there. He also enjoyed cooking for his friends and family. He was devoted to looking after his mother making two visits each day. Ramey will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Friends may visit Tuesday February 5, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. and funeral Wednseday February 6, 2019 with burial in the Owingsville Cemetery.
