Robert "Bobby J." Toy

Robert "Bobby J." Toy, 73 passed away after a short illness. He was born January 1, 1944 to the late Osbond and Zelma Toy. Married for 53 years to his beloved wife Kathy Wheeler Toy. He worked for many years for Harper Construction, but in his spare time he was a passionate gardener. Guests to his home always took away bags full of his garden's bounty and when he went visiting he brought the gift of his garden with him. He also enjoyed Coon Hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Kathy Wheeler Toy; two daughters Melissa (Claude) Shrout and Robin (Herbert) Puckett all of Owingsville; two sisters Mary B. (Charles) Copher and Marjorie (Kevin) Shepherd all of Owingsville; four grandchildren Ashley Shrout, Taylor Shrout, Whitley Purvis, and Jacob Purvis; three great-grandchildren Blake Holland, Karson Hymel, Gibson Shrout; several nieces and nephews also.  

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Billy Earl Toy.

Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday with the Reverend Relzda McNabb officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
