Richard Allen Royse

Richard Allen Royse, age 72, of Owingsville, passed away on April 6, 2019. He was born on September 27, 1946 in Bath County to the late Herman Royse and Lavelle Catherine Woods Royse. Richard was a member of Bailey's Chapel during his youth. He attended Northside Church of God. He was a farmer throughout his life and enjoyed being outdoors.  Richard was a very talkative and social person. He enjoyed square dancing, talking on the CB radio and fishing. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Karen N. Thomas Royse; One sister, Sharon Sue Royse (Gregory) Grooms of Bowling Green; One niece, Courtney Meador; A large extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Royse and Lavelle Catherine Woods Royse; One sister, Karen Lou Royse.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Fairview Cemetery.

Reverend Kenny Crouch will be officiating.
