Millard Green, Jr.

Millard Green, Jr., 83, of Owingsville passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday evening. He was born in Carlisle, Ky on January 12, 1934 to the late Millard Green, Sr. and Lillian Green Snelling. He married Maxine Jones Green and spent his life farming and raising his children and grandchildren. He loved his farm and lived his life to see to it's success. 

He is survived by his adoring family his wife Maxine Green of Owingsville; a son Mitchell Green of Owingsville; a daughter Ava Green of Owingsville; a brother Lloyd Green of Muncie, Indiana; a grandson Brandon (Brandi) Green of Owingsville; four great-grandchildren Madison Cruse, Teygan Green, Logan Green, and Bentley Green; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Roy McClain and David Green. 

Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday evening. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday with  Reverend Charles McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Polksville Cemetery.
