Frances Manley of Mt. Sterling, KY, a former Bath County native, passed away Friday January 11, 2019 at St. Joseph - Mt. Sterling. She was born November 10, 1924 in Bath County to the late Orville and Clara Highley Rice. Frances dearly loved her family and was a people person. She was an avid rook player and enjoyed square dancing. She was a member of the Slate Valley Christian Church. She also was a member of the Eastland Christian Church. Wherever she went she was the life of the party. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Hubert Wayne (Ann) Manley of Mt. Sterling; Two sisters, Eula Petitt of Salt Lick and Roxie Voyles of Louisville; One sister in law, Eliza Pergrem of Owingsville; her Sarah Winn friends and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Brooks Manley; One brother, Ed Rice; Two sisters, Evelyn Dahlrot and Louise Meeks.
Visitation will be Monday 5-8 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in the Slate Valley Cemetery.
Reverend Lowell Rice will be officiating.
