Lloyd Stephen Castle, age 66, of Means KY, passed away July 23,2018. He was born August 17, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to Lloyd Ishmael Castle and Marguerite Imogene Ross Castle. He was a retired veteran of the Air Force. He also worked for the United States Postal Service, Energy Management/ Insight and Mott McDonald. He was a college graduate of Asbury College. He was a member of the 9th KY Cavalry, 10th KY Cavalry and the Kentucky Calvary Brigade. He can be described as a very passionate horseman, especially Mountain horses. He will be remembered as a very intelligent man, who was a great story teller and loved his family and friends, who will greatly miss him.
He left behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Teresa Blevins Castle; His beloved mother, Marguerite Imogene Ross Castle; Two sons, Stephen B. (Susan) Castle of Lawerenceburg; Austin Chadwick Johnson ( Savannah) Castle of Versailles; One daughter, Libbi Ann Castle (Michael) Evans of Frankfort; One brother, Thomas R. Castle; Two sisters, Marsha A. Castle Phillips, Susan M. Castle Ballard; Eight grandchildren, 2nd Lt. Michael Evans, Pfc. Nicolas Evans, Stephanie Evans, Brady McClain Castle, Colton Wyatt Castle, Fionnlagh Monroe Castle, Madelyn Castle and Mya Castle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Ishmael Castle.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friday July 27, 2018 at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday July 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home will burial to follow at Fagan Cemetery.
