Kenneth Scott Wells, 55, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning at his residence. He was born February 1, 1964 to the late Tommy and Barbara Wells. He had a vibrant and colorful personality and took every opportunity to enjoy life. He enjoyed cooking, often saying that it relaxed him and then he enjoyed the fellowship of his family and friends when he sat down to the table. He was a great lover of animals. His children have fond memories of their father raising chickens and pigs, but he also loved having house dogs when he was able. He was musically talented, playing the bass guitar and singing in his family's gospel group during his youth. They played all over this area; mostly in local churches as The Wells Family Gospel Group. Later in years Scotty enjoyed a laid back life filled with his favorite TV shows Gunsmoke and the Andy Griffith Show. He will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and kindness. He was a much beloved father, grandfather, brother and nephew.
He leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Kenneth Wells and Ben Wells of Mt. Sterling, Jacob Wells and Tommy Joe Wells of Oklahoma; two daughters, Mary Wells of Mt. Sterling and Ashley Wells of Oklahoma; two brothers Darell Wells of Owingsville and Dennis Wells of Missouri; one sister Sandy Jones of Oklahoma; Fifteen grandchildren and a special aunt Nancye Maze and several other aunts and uncles.
