Joann (White) Yount

Joann White Yount, 84, of Owingsville formerly of Piqua, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 10th. She was born February 11, 1933 to the late Theodore Roosevelt White and Iva Lee Elam White. She was a Homemaker for most of her life and her beautiful personality rubbed off on those who loved her most. Her sisters described her as witty and funny and they claim there was never a dull moment when Joann was in the room. 

She is survived by her sons Gregory Sano and David White and her daughter Kimberly Penny. But she also leaves behind her deeply devoted siblings Henry White of Louisiana, Homer (Kaye) White of Sharpsburg, William Scott (Lorine) White of Sharpsburg, Sandra (Cle) Robinson and Shiela (Gayle) Arnold of Mt. Sterling. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. 

Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hedricks Cemetery.
