Jason Ray Spratt

Jason Ray Spratt, 41, departed this life prematurely on August 25, 2017. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on October 20, 1975 the son of David and Vickie Spratt of Jeffersonville and the loving husband of Whitney Lawson Spratt and the proud of father of Noah Michael Spratt. He was raised in Owingsville and was a graduate of Bath County High School although he lived in Mt. Sterling for 18 years. In his lifetime he was a truck driver, a career that he was very proud of, but he was also a carpenter and a construction worker. He loved fishing and laughing and was known for his sense of humor. In April of this year he was baptized into the Christian faith.

Immediate survivors include his wife Whitney Lawson Spratt of Montgomery County; his parents David and Vickie Spratt of Jeffersonville; his son Noah Michael Spratt; two sisters Crystal Rothwell of Mt. Sterling and Candy Spratt also of Mt. Sterling.

He was preceeded in death by his grandparents Curt and Julie Spratt and his brother-in-law Joshua Baxter.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday August 31, 2017 at the Richardson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday by the Reverend Lowell Rice. Burial to follow in the Spratt Family Cemetery in Preston.
