Glenn Martin Obituary

Glenn Allen Martin, age 65, of Owingsville, passed away June 20 at St. Joseph Main in Lexington. He was born March 9, 1954 in Lexington to the late Chester Ray Martin and Bertha Hanes Martin. Glenn loved to go fishing and to be working on the farm. He enjoyed being outdoors. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Glenn will be missed by his family, friends and all that knew him. They will forever cherish the memories they have of him. 

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Martin of Owingsville; One daughter, Thelma Terry (Greg) of West Virginia; One brother, Charles Martin (Carolyn) of Georgetown; Three grandsons, Zachary Manley, James Manley and Nicholas Manley; Two brothers in law, Hamid Beykzadeh and Joel Peyton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Bertha Martin; Two sisters, Joyce Beykzadeh and Linda Peyton.

Visitation will be Sunday June 23 from 6-8 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday June 24 at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in the Oldfield Cemetery.

Reverend Sean Bailey will be officiating.
