Donald Thomas Clark, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and his adoring wife on Sunday morning. He was born in Bath County on November 24, 1945 to the late Thomas Clark and Anna Elizabeth Mansfield Clark. He married Mary Elizabeth Parker and they were married for 51 years. During his lifetime he was a sales representative and store manager for Southern States where he retired from after 35 years. But his true passion was farming. He had a Bachelors degree from Morehead State University in Agriculture and Business Law and he put it to work on his family's farm for many years. He was a member of the Owingsville Christian Church and an FFA Member. His sons and his grandchildren were his life and he was described as a kind hearted, simple, humble, giving man who was well loved and respected by all. Our Loss is truly Heaven's Gain.
He was survived by his wife Mary Elizabeth Parker Clark, One son Kyle Reagan Clark (Amber) of Owingsville, Two sisters; Dorothy York and Betty Sue Thompson (Jimmy), Five nephews; Joseph York (Tammy), Patrick Dotson, Stuart Bradley, Bill Dotson and David Vanlandingham, Five nieces; Beth Harrison, Kim Bromagen (Pat), Karen Smith, April Yeary and Kathryn Vandlandingham, Nine grandchildren; Dylan Clark, Colby Thomas Clark, Chase Owen Clark, Taylor Elizabeth Clark, Reagan Lynn Clark, Audrey Dane Clark, Kyle Owen Clark, Lucian Parley Dale Clark and Summerlee Rein Clark, two sisters- in-law Suzanne Parker and Laura Lee Vanlandingham. He is also survived by several cousins.
He was preceded in death by two sons Thomas Owen Clark and Louie Dane Clark, one sister-in-law Rebecca Parker, one nephew Jeffery York.
Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Richardson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home by the Reverend Lowell Rice. Burial will follow in the Shrout Cemetery.
