Daniel Joseph Spence passed away at the young age of 19, on August 11, 2018. He was born on April 29, 1999 in Mount Sterling to Larry and Chrystal (Coffman) Spence. He was an employee at Swartz Mowing. Daniel was a hard working young man and loved to be outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish with his dad. He loved to do woodwork and dreamed of being a master carpenter. A passion of his was hand making knives. Daniel was a fun, friendly young man with a smile that was contagious. His family and friends were important to him. He loved spending time with them and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was a fun uncle to his nieces and nephews and loved to play with them. Daniel loved his family, friends and his special companion, Samantha, who was his soul mate.
Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Larry and Chrystal Coffman Spence; 3 brothers, David Spence of Georgetown, Michael Spence of Mt. Sterling, Travis Spence of Salt Lick; 1 sister, Lisa Spence of Sharpsburg; Maternal grandmother, Thelma Burgess; Maternal grandfather, David Coffman; 2 nephews, 5 nieces and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; A special Uncle, Russell Pergrem; Special Companion, Samantha Sexton and many special friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 14 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral will be Wednesday August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Longview Cemetery. Reverend Roy Stacy will be officiating.
Family ask for donations to contribute to funeral expenses.
