Carrie Ann Thomas

Carrie Ann Thomas, age 68 of Owingsville, passed away on October 17. She was born on July 2, 1950 in Bath County to the late Jess Bashford and Bessie Bowles Bashford. She was a quilter and loved crafts. She enjoyed yard sales. She also loved flowers and Fall was her favorite time of the year. She was a former employee of the Hilltop Nursing Home. 

She is survived by her fiance, Terry Moore; a loving son, Jimmy King of Owingsville; a loving daughter, Savannah Harney; Special children, Abigail Edger, Noah Edger, Addison Edger; 3 brothers, Harold Bashford, Robert Bashford, Steve Bashford all of Owingsville; 3 Sisters, Annie Clark, Margaret Bennett and Estil Crouch all of Owingsville; 6 grandchildren, Aireanna Carrie Dawn King, William King, Deziray Frazier, Hannah, Zach, and Sophie; Several Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Bessie Bashford; 2 brothers, Herbert Bashford and Roy Bashford; 1 sister, Hattie Spence and 1 sister in law, Roberta Bashford. 

Visitation will be Friday Oct 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home. 

Funeral will be held Saturday Oct 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery. 

Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
