Wayne Rawlings

Wayne Rawlings, 95, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday after a short illness at his home at Sterling Meadows. He was born March 31, 1921 to the late Tom and Nine Myers Rawlings in Sharpsburg. He was a farmer and an employee of the Department of Revenue and a World War II Veteran in Europe. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alberta "Jo" Rawlings, four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his sister Dorothy Young of Mt. Sterling, several nieces and nephews and good friends.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the Ashland Cemetery. Paula Richardson-Barber will be officiating.
