Tommy Crouch, 78, passed away Wednesday January 11, 2017 at his residence in Sharpsburg. He leaves to cherish his memory Mrs. Lydia Gray Crouch. He was born June 15, 1938 to the late Raymond Crouch, Sr. and Mary Lillian Butcher. During his lifetime he was well known in Bath and surrounding counties as a Barn Builder and a Farmer, but he was also a very well known coon hunter, but perhaps he was most proud of being one of the founding members of Victory Chapel in Sharpsburg helping to purchase the land and build the building.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Thomas (Vickie) Crouch of Sharpsburg; three daughters, Betty Vice (Sharpsburg), Stephanie (Justin) Swartz of Hope, and Shannon (Robert) Brown of Sharpsburg; one brother, Bobby (Nannie) Crouch of Sharpsburg; one sister, Martha Mae McCord of Lexington. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Crouch, Sr. and Mary Lillian Butcher; one daughter, Regina Couch; one brother, Raymond Crouch, Jr.; one daughter, Regina Crouch; and one great-grandchild proceeds him in death.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m Friday at the Victory Chapel Church in Sharpsburg. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with the Reverend Kevin Miles officiating. Burial to follow in the Longview Cemetery.
