Ronald Dale Norris

Ronald Dale Norris, 69, of Owingsville passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning. He was born February 27, 1948 to the late Roger Coyle Norris and Juanita Crouch Norris. He was baptized when he was young at the Slate Valley Christian Church. He spent over 30 years as a supervisor for Walker Construction, but he was also a farmer in his spare time. He enjoyed trap shooting and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Horse Association for many years. But his favorite hobby was loving on his grand babies.

He is survived by his loving wife Janice Norris of Owingsville; two daughters Angela (Cecil) Norris of Mt. Sterling and Tracy (David) Henderson of Jeffersonville; one brother Tony Norris of Sharpsburg; one sister Debbie (Ronnie) Stigall of Owingsville; three grandchildren Kirsten (Mark) Young of Mt. Sterling, Dylan (Macy) Helton of Jeffersonville, Logan Young of Mt. Sterling; four great grandchildren Kylie Young, Bailey Duh, Gage Young, and Allison Young.

He was preceded in death by his best friend and brother, Dennis Norris.

Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 4th at Richardson Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 5th with the Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
