Mitzie Staton Bromagen, widow of Raymond Bromagen, died on June 17, 2017 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Espie and Sallie Staton. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Sara Dunnigan Lovejoy of Ashland and Nancye Smoot of Owingsville.
Mitzie is survived by her son, Michael Bromagen and wife Charlotte of Owingsville, granddaughters, Dr. Brandy Fouch and husband Dennis of Mt. Sterling, Cheyenne Baber, PharmD and husband Jared of Owingsville, and Ashley Wells and husband Eric of Owingsville. Mitzie is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Sophia Fouch, Dryden Wells, Charlie Fouch, Adelle Baber, and Andalyn Baber.
Mitzie was a charter member of the Owingsville Church of Christ and attended regularly at the Rolling Hills Church of Christ. She was a grocery clerk for many years in Owingsville and was part owner of the Keal and Bromagen Funeral Home in Owingsville. She loved visiting with friends, watching her granddaughters and the Wildcats play basketball, and cooking for her family which she did almost every Sunday until she was 90 years old.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home conducted by Brother John Wills, Brother Danny Murphy, Brother Jeff Carmichael and Brother Bobby Jones. Burial to follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
